December Prediction Run – Leave your watches at home!

This Saturday, December 3rd, the Bryn Mawr Running Club will hold its annual Christmas/Holiday Prediction Run. It will be the same format as the Summer Prediction Runs, except it will begin at 8:30 a.m.

As usual the entry for the prediction run will be a new, unwrapped toy, which will be given to Face to Face Germantown at St. Vincent’s Parish. The toys will go to the children who are in the shelter at St. Vincent’s and who receive services from Face to Face. These are the only toys that the children will get, so your generosity will go along way here.

Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. and we can always use help getting things together.
We will have refreshments and some cool prizes for the people who are closest to their predicted time.

Philadelphia Marathon Waterstop – Thank you volunteers!

Thank you to all members of Bryn Mawr Running Club who joined us in Manayunk as we cheered on fellow BMRC members and all the runners as they made the voyage through the streets of Manayunk during the 2011 Philadelphia marathon.

For the 2nd year, we managed the waterstop at mile 19.5. Over 100 club members and their families came together for a fun day of hardwork passing out gatorade, water and of course lots of cheering.

Thanks again!
