Thank you volunteers

By jhunter - Posted on 25 April 2010

If you were lucky enough to be at the art museum steps on Friday evening between 5 and 7 you were witness to a glorious site. Close to 1500 runners and almost 100 volunteers came out to support this year's Out & Back Party Run. Tom was smiling down upon and with us as the race went off flawlessly; and the weather, for the second year in a row, cooperated to give us cloudless skies and perfect temps. To those of you who were not lucky enough to know Tom, know that he was there in spirit and you did a great thing in his honor. All you had to do was look at the red "Team Corrigan" shirts to know the love and loyalty Tom inspired.

To all the volunteers, the race would not have been nearly as successful without your help. So, thank you from everyone on the race committee, who works tirelessly for months to ensure a successful event (if you've never worked with engineers, they give new meaning to "detail oriented"). Thanks to one and all for a great event.
