The Bryn Mawr Running Club was formed in 1996 and is one of the largest running clubs in the Philadelphia area with over 100 members. Our club attracts serious runners of all abilities and fitness goals ranging from the recreational jogger to the highly competitive road racer. We are a very social club and very supportive of all our member’s running goals. Most importantly, we have a good time running.
Broad Street Run/Tailgate
Sunday, May 6th is the much awaited Broad Street Run. 40,000 runners will begin their journey down Broad Street ending in the Navy Yard. So far, the weather looks pretty good.
Following the race is the annual BMRC Broad Street Run tailgate party in FDR Park. This will guarantee that you have your first frosty beverage and food by 10:00 a.m.
The party will be held, as usual, on the East side of the Park near the Baseball fields (and rest rooms) directly opposite the elevated section of I-95.
We will have a separate email going out for the tailgate to coordinate food and drink.
BROAD STREET BUS - below is the link for the bus sign up. Since the bus only fits 56 people, it is only available for dues paying members. We'll be departing Bryn Mawr at 6:00 a.m. and then getting dropped off at La Salle (a few short blocks from the start). Cost to ride is $25.
